Hal is a 15 year veteran in the title industry and has served as Manager of HomeSale Settlement Services since 2016. He has “sat in every seat” and performed in every position within the company. Hal oversees daily operations including title review and resolution, CD/HUD preparation, settlements and disbursements. Having conducted and supervised thousands of successful settlements over his career, Hal focuses his team on providing timely, accurate, and complete information to all parties to ensure a smooth settlement. Hal earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Maryland at College Park. Originally from Baltimore County, Hal now resides in Howard County. Hal sponsors and participates in helping raise money for several community organizations, most notably, Sunshine Kids Foundation.
Allyson Gaines, Esquire.
“Ally” is a Settlement Attorney and serves as underwriting counsel for Homesale Settlement Services. She has served in every role and position since her entry into the industry in 2013. Ally’s true passion in the title industry lies in research and problem solving. Ally is dedicated to realtors, lenders and their customers in solving problems to ensure a smooth settlement occurs. When not combing the MD Land Records and solving title and contract issues, Ally enjoys reading, spending time with her dogs, and raising money for the ALS Association. A lifelong Baltimore resident, Ally is a graduate of St. Paul’s School for Girls, Towson University, and the University of Baltimore, School of Law. Ally is a member of the Maryland Bar and a licensed title producer in Maryland.
Thomas F. Cuffie II, Esq.
Thomas is a decade long resident of the Baltimore-Washington region. He followed a path, prefaced by an early fascination with geography and college courses in urban planning, directly to HomeSale Settlement Services. As a settlement attorney, Thomas uses problem-solving skills, honed from a combination of engineering coursework and legal experience, to tend to client needs. His keen attention to detail and affinity for intricate processes provide Thomas with the essential tools necessary to be an effective title professional who facilitates real estate transactions for all parties involved. On Capitol Hill, whether in a House congressional office or on the floor of the Senate, Thomas immersed himself in various areas of policy – among them regulations pertaining to financial lending practices, consumer protection, and insurance coverage for homeowners. Thomas is a graduate of Georgia State University College of Law and a member of the Maryland Bar and State Bar of Georgia. He earned his B.S. in General Science from Morehouse College and B.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. To relieve stress, Thomas enjoys his free time as an avid music analyst and whisk(e)y enthusiast.
